Official Proclamation and Edict to all American Courts from the Queen Mother of the Americas, Empress Nicole the Great
Given on July 4, 2007

Official Flag and National Anthem Protocol:

National Flags are NEVER dipped. You can do as you please with other flags. Traditionally, the flags of the Armed Forces of the United States are dipped during the playing of the Star Spangled Banner.
The flag of the United States of America is always at the United States flag’s right. When the flag is on a stage or a platform, the flag’s right is the audience’s left. When on stage with other national flags the other flags are to the United States flag’s left (from the audience’s perspective, to the right). When being carried forward, the United States Flag is the rightmost of the flags but inboard of the rightmost rifle bearer of the color guard.

Canadian and Mexican Flags. Flags of other nations are displayed in alphabetical order. Thus, the Canadian flag is to the immediate left (United States flag’s left/right when viewed from the audience) of the Untied States flag. Mexico’s flag is the farthest left (United States flag’s left/right when viewed from the audience). After the national flags, the Gay Pride Flag, State Flags, etc. are displayed in descending order of priority out to the United States flag’s left (audience’s right).
In a single file line, the flag of the United States is in the front, followed by the flag of Canada and then the flag of Mexico.

National Anthems: the national anthems are played in reverse order of precedence: first – Mexico, second – Canada, and last – United States of America.
