Claudia Silva* was introduced to the court at the
age of 18 and became our youngest monarch at the age
of 21. Being a young self-confident person with strong
family values and a traditional Italian up bringing
isn't always welcomed into the gay community with
open arms. The advantage was having a natural positive
outlook with fresh ideas and full of youthful ambition.
Growing up working in her thriving family businesses
with a positive traditional European goal oriented
family the combination was just what the court needed.
Born
and raised in the Niagara Region Ontario Canada, Empress
Claudia Silva* is a notable, recognizable and well-respected
member of his local, national and international communities,
both inside and outside the sexual- and gender-diverse
community.
At
the forefront of various initiatives, including raising
membership, developing fundraising events and approaches,
redeveloping executive positions and position descriptions,
as well as instituting a user-friendly travel fund
for reigning monarchs. Claudia has served on the board
of directors over the years as a board member and
president for five terms, as well as the Reigning
Empress 1999 and 2006.
Celebrating over 40 Years of Noble Deeds in the United
States, Canada, and Mexico .Claudia also has the distinction
of being one of the 40 recipients of the 40Years/40
Nobles Legion of Honors.
Host
and brain-child of "Canada's Next Top Drag Queen"
Claudia Silva* presented a 5 part competition. Based
upon the reality show "America's Next Top Model";
contestants were put through the paces with challenging
production numbers and sometimes vicious campy critiquing.
This event continues to be a major success and has
become crowd favorite and a significant annual fundraiser.
Over
the past decade Claudia Silva* not only worked through
heir title as Empress but has contributed to the community
professionally by bringing fundraising and raising
public awareness to the forefronts.
As
a successful local businessperson Claudia has sponsored
several joint fundraising events. Live dinner shows,
silent actions and weeklong festivals, and annual
golf tournaments where local charities benefit from
donations and proceeds which have all been held in
or by her various businesses.
Claudia's
contributions have been far-reaching, and have only
just begun. Considering her appointment as an Heir
Apparent to HIM Empress Nicole the Great-Queen Mother
of the Americas, as a complete honor but also an obligation
to the ICA of hard work and dedication.
